Rob Cecil

Managing Partner

Rob worked in practice for 13 years, gaining experience (in both small and top 10 accountancy firms,) and managing portfolios of small to medium sized companies, providing accountancy, audit and taxation services.

More recently, Rob worked as a Finance Business Partner at the NSPCC. The role was key to leading the finance and strategic direction of the National Services directorate that included the NSPCC Helpline and Childline.

Rob was responsible for the delivery of all aspects of operational financial management for the directorate and reported directly into the Director of Finance. He worked closely with the Director of National Services and her senior management team, attending monthly management meetings and contributing towards effective decision-making and performance management.

Simon Ham

Director

Simon has over 17 years experience in the accountancy profession, working in both practice and industry. With a background in audit and management accounting, he is familiar with the reporting and procedural requirements of SME clients, as well as the need for concise and accurate internal reporting information for discussion at departmental and board level.

Since 2011, Simon has been involved in Senior Financial Management positions in the Media industry, including four years at the second largest film distribution studio in the UK.

Reporting directly to the Financial Director, Simon was involved in all aspects of internal finance with a particular emphasis on management accounting, expenditure control and VAT.

Note that Simon is not a statutory director of Cecil and Co Accountants Limited, and only Robert Cecil is a registered statutory director.
